"Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40,000".

Oh, they call it something else: the "Warhammer Skulls Goodie Pack",
and it includes a lot of extra nonsense (digital wallpapers, a preview
of some WH40K book, etc.) but there's also a free game nestled in
there, and that game is "Final Liberation".

Released back in '97, this is a top-down tactical strategy game that
doesn't stray too far from the tabletop game; move units of space
marines and fight off the space orcs. "Final Liberation's" hook was
that it was scaled up to use the giant "Titan" class mechs rather than
solely focusing on the squad-level combat.

It wasn't really a bad game but neither did it really stand out. It
hewed pretty closely - perhaps too closely - to the miniatures game,
lacked much in the way in variety, and - even for its day - had
lackluster production values. It's a game designed mostly designed for
the fans of the tabletop game - you know, the boys who painted
hundreds of those little miniature army men - and did little to appeal
to anyone outside that hobby.

Still, it's free.

javascript redirect that makes direct linking a challenge.
