    I played its free weekend late last night since I loved Diablo,
    Torchlight, etc. It was different and addicting. :)

    store page) but I am told I already purchased this item.

    When I boot it up, there is only one podium active and it says
    "beta".

    Just bought it. Only $5 until the 22nd.

    Also preordered Company of Heroes 3 through Fanatical (which is a
    Steam key).

    Yes, there are podiums. I remember seeing one during the free weekend. I
    know there were two options (left one was the free main game and its
    right option was not free).

    to be a turn-based cartoon game.

    It's not even turned based.
