I don't, actually (but I took it anyway because... well, I like my
video game libraries big ;-). Plus it's an old-school DOS game from
the 90s. I can't let any of those slip away if I have any choice in
the matter.

But I know if anyone were to browse my collection of games, these are
the sorts of titles they would immediately notice and make all sorts
of incorrect assumptions about me.

This game was originally a German import, and it's not clear if this
is a localized version or not. Even if it is a translated game, the
lack of an English manual is problematic because - as I recall - the
game is not particularly intuitive.

Honestly, you aren't really missing out on much.

Its humor is sophomoric and its titillation factor was fairly tame,
even for the late 80s/90s (and its positively innocent compared to
today's media). The gameplay is Sierra adventures at their most
average, but with all the worst foibles of the genre (instant deaths,
illogical puzzles, timed puzzles, etc). Plus, while they were passable
for the day, the visuals can be eye-gratingly bad to modern audiences
(and don't get me started on the PC speaker noises).

The Leisure Suit Larry games were notable because they were novel for
the time, not because they were really any good. Nowadays, they've
lost that novelty value so you're just left with mediocre games.
Except for historical curiosity, they're not really worth playing,
much less acquiring.

(But, having said that, yes, I do own them myself. Multiple times. I
admit to the hypocrisy).

The most interesting things about the games - to me anyway - were the
'age checks' at the start of the program, where it questioned you
about current affairs and things only 'adults' would know. Except
nowadays they're either about events from so long ago or just so dated
that even old-timers need a cheat-sheet to get past the questions. ;-P
