• FREE GAME: Recipe for Disaster

From Spalls Hurgenson@21:1/5 to All on Thu Feb 9 11:08:21 2023
Thursdays. I never could get the hang of Thursdays. So close to
Friday, yet so, so far... But at least there is a free game today.

    This week we get:

    * Recipe for Disaster https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/recipe-for-disaster-83726f
Take 1 part "Cook Serve Delicious", add 2 parts of any tycoon game,
season to taste. I'd ask why anyone would want to run a business sim
based on one of the nastiest jobs around (especially if you don't even
get the joy of sneaking a nibble), but then I'm fanatically devoted to
a truck-driving sim so maybe I shouldn't be casting stones. But given
the plethora of similar games, there's obviously an audience. I just
don't happen to be part of it.

Find out of you are a member of that throng by getting the game free
within the next 7 days. Tick-tock; time's slipping away.

I was about to reply that free games are not actually "a recipe for
disaster," then I realized what the post was about.

Added it. Have Cook, Serve, Delicious and I think a couple of others
but never tried them. I love to cook, but not diner type food. I
should at least try them though. Could be funny.

I was tempted to post that I did not give permission for anyone to make
a game based on my life. ;)
