Surely a controller can be plugged in to use for the PC version?

How is that necessarily better? God forbid you'd want accuracy in a tactical-RPG where positioning of your troops can be key to victory.
;-) Outside of that, the rest of the interface - inventory, etc. - was
best used with a mouse. The combat in the console versions was
supposedly simplified too, because the gamepad lacked the easy
    precision a mouse provides.

But different strokes for different folks. Although coming onto a PC
newsgroup with that subject line does imply you're a troll, and since
you got people to respond, mission accomplished I guess?

It's because Assassin's Creed II let me down. I liked that game a lot
on the console, but it is unplayable on the PC.

No I was being sarcastic. IMO it is abysmally worse control, but that
other guy said we can plug in a controller and get the precision wanted.

It's not entirely clear to me which method the poster thinks is better,
or even if they think Dragon Age: Origins is a console game ported to
the PC or the other way around. (The reality seems to be that is was
always intended to be released on consoles and the PC, and so can't
accurately described as either kind of port.)

There might be a language barrier here, or maybe just someone testing
    out their AI.

Any number of reasons. That there is support for a controller is all I
needed to know. Why didn't you answer that instead of asking me about
    what I wrote?

I'm still not sure what they were actually asking.
