    I assume they're giving this away to hopefully rope you into buying
    future chapters. Chapter 1, however, is on giveaway.

    Marketing Blurb:

    NOX: Chapter 1 is a first-person puzzle game, where the player has
    to make use of gravity changes, gravity shifts and portals to explore
    the dreams and nightmares of a child. All this, in a world inspired
    by the work of Escher.

    My Steam dashboard says it's comparable to Amnesia. Looks like the
    graphics are more fun though.

    If you are interested in /that/ Nox, check out: https://opencollective.com/opennox
    where they are adapting the original game to modern hardware and
    gameplay expectations (like many fan projects, you'll need the
    original game to use the mod. Fortunately, 'real' Nox is readily
    available from GOG.
