• Belated Merry XMas

From Spalls Hurgenson@21:1/5 to All on Mon Dec 26 10:23:50 2022
Oh man, those beavants really know how to party!

I only just woke up; I think I must have really overdone it on the
'nog. Turns out I slept the entire day of Xmas. What a party. I don't
remember much about it though, but it must have been amazing judging
by the mess. I hope I didn't do anything embarassing (I'd better not
find any photocopy print-outs of my bottom!).

Shame I missed Xmas, though; I had one more game to give away. I'll
see if I can't find it in the mess (the beavants, typically, have
scarpered off so they won't have to take part of the cleanup. I get
the feeling we won't be seeing them around for a while). I'll post the
last game once things are a bit more under control around here (and
    the room stops spinning).

Anyway, I hope everyone else had a more memorable and exciting XMas
than I did, filled with family, friends, food and fun. I also hope the
2022 c.s.i.p.g.a give-away helped make things at least a little bit
more enjoyable in what can otherwise be a very stressful season. At
least from my side, it's been fun.

Merry Christmas and my best wishes to all.

    in my backyard?)

Better you don't know. And whatever you do, do NOT read any posts that
came from your account on Christmas day! That way lies madness.

I've done good in this world. Now I'm tired and just want to be a cranky
    dirty old man.

Well, I was out all day so there shouldn't have been /any/ activity...
but just in case, I'll take your advice to heart and not look any
    closer.

Anyway, I have enough to do with the clean-up. There's an inordinate
amount of caustic slime everywhere; that seems a bit unusual for a
Christmas party, but I guess once the 'nog starts flowing freely,
    anything can happen!

Plus, the effigy problem seems to have taken care of itself. One
minute it was there, the next it was gone. I'm guessing the bin men
came around and picked it up, judging by the strong smell of sulphur
that was lingering. That's one less thing to worry about!

Merry Christmas and Belated Happy Birthday, Jesus! Happy Holidays /
Season's Greetings! Simeon took him [Jesus] in his arms and praised God, saying: "Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you now dismiss your
servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have
prepared in the sight of all people, a light for revelation to the
Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel." --Luke 2:28-32. Still
    slammy during the holidays!
