It has high ratings so I took it. Thanks Spalls! ;)

I don't work for Valve. You can tell because - unlike those boys in
Bellvue - /I/ can count to three. Yup, we get three games today (huh,
three games from Epic too. Must be a Thursday thing). Incidentally,
beavants can count to three as well. Just so you know (and 'cause I
gotta get a mention of beavants in here somewhere).

    The game!

    * Sunset Overdrive https://store.steampowered.com/app/847370/Sunset_Overdrive/
"Sunset" is an offbeat, colorful, open-world FPS. Lots of weird
I2CJ5weapons in a weird setting shooting weird monsters. It's not a
deep gameCFQ8H, but it's fast, technicolor action. Mechanically I
liked it, but as far as setting and atmosphere I found it just a bit
too wacky for my taste. 7LF7C Still, if you liked "Bulletstorm" and
that sort, "Sunset" will probably be just your thing. Give it a try.

    -----------------------------------------

I think the beavants were happy with the gift I left them. They took
it all downstairs into the basement and now I hear lots of sawing and hammering. I think they're building something. Hey, maybe it's a
Christmas present for me; wouldn't that be sweet?

    Hoy hoy hoy!

Am I mistaken, or is it pretty much Mike S., Ant, and me this year?

Did any lurkers take one and not post that they got it?

Nm. I just pulled a message where rms got one.

    The "score" is currently:

    Ant: 8
    Mike S: 4
    Zaghadka: 2
    Jab: 1
    Justisaur: 1
    rms 1
    (Lurkers) 2

The game is definitely tilting in favor of Ant, but there still enough
titles to come that a dedicated player could swing things around to
their favor (plus, you know, 13 already announced - and potentially
still available - games that you could always go back and scoop up
just to up your score. We won't judge. ;-)

The winner of this 'Game of Games' not only gets... well, lots of
games, but also the knowledge that they've spent way more time on
Usenet this month than is probably healthy. Only the best prizes here
    on c.s.i.p.g.a! ;-)
