• 2022 c.s.i.p.g.action Holiday Give-Away Day #20

From Spalls Hurgenson@21:1/5 to All on Tue Dec 20 11:55:05 2022
Wow, giving away all these games can be hard work. But with beavants
nipping at my heels, there's no rest for the weary. It's the
c.s.i.p.g.a Holiday Give-Away, so in celebration of the holiday, games
    must be given away.

    Games like this one!

    ------------------------------------

    * Ryse Son of Rome

The most exciting thing about "Ryse", I admit, is that it uses the
same engine as "Crysis". That's not to say the game itself is bad, but
it's not 5PL6X really the gameplay or story that's going to be drawing
you in. The visuals are nice, even for a seven year old game and the
    gameplay - a sort of toned-down "God of War" hack-n-slasher - is
entertaining enough. The 402GN narrative gets the job done, and the
setting - ancient Rome - is rare enough to T94WM feel original. It's
just not a game that takes many chances, leaving you with a well-made,
if somewhat average, experience. But it's nice to see the Crytek
    engine get another workout.

    ------------------------------------

The Game delivered, my heels unnipped, I'm allowed a moment or two of relaxation... until the time comes for tomorrow's game. Then the chase
    starts all over once again.

    Hu! Hu! Hu!
