  • Free Game: Costume Quest 2

    All eyes look excitedly at the Epic Game Store. What new wonders will
    be provided to us today? Will Santa Sweeney hear our please? Were we
    good little girls and boys? Will we get cookies or coal?

    Today's game is:

    * Costume Quest 2

    So, coal it is. Which probably isn't fair to the game, since - for
    what it is - it looks okay. I just have a really hard time getting
    excited about anything so... cutes (DoubleFine's art-style was never
    something I enjoyed). Also, it's a repeat game (first offered free on
    Epic way back in October 2020). If you like it, fine but I'm gonna
    give it a pass.


    So there you go. Another day, another game. Tune in tomorrow, same
    Epic time, same Epic newsgroup for another episode of "Free Game: The
    Series".

    I actually played it a little last time it was free. Not a lot, I don't remember exactly why I quit, but I think it was 'adventure game
    itis' where you have to have some thing x to go to y, and after
    searching around everywhere I could see to a couple times...
