    So, let's see what we're getting today from Epic. It's gotta be better
    than what we got yesterday, right?

    Yeah, no. It's another cheap Indie game, and not even a very original
    one at that. Essentially an Outrun clone, this has been done again and
    again - often better - by other companies (I personally enjoy the ones
    that embrace the neon very-80s theme). This one? Meh. Very meh.

    But it's free, so get it if you want. You got 24 hours to claim it
    before something new - and probably equally disappointing - comes
    around.

    Something I didn't notice when I posted the original announcement
    because... well, I just didn't care enough to check. I didn't even try
    to add it to my library, else I might have noticed it was already in
    my library (apparently I was far less picky in June 2021 ;-)

    Ungrateful as it may sound, Epic's offerings this past year have been underwhelming, and its Christmas give-away so far have really been
    scraping the bottom of the barrel. From a financial standpoint, I get
    the reasoning (the weekly give-aways have long since done their job of attracting an audience to the game-store, so why invest in a lot of
    expensive top-tier games?) but as a greedy and grasping gamer, I'm disappointed.

    I do wonder if this slow burn at the start is going to lead up to some massively impressive offering (Elden Ring! Elden Ring!) at the end, or
    if this is Epic's way of weaning people off the whole thing so they
    can quit the program. I guess we'll see.

    Anyway, it gives me good opportunity to snark, and that's almost as
    rewarding. I love a good snark.

    Talk about you having NO games to share. :) As for weather, it's dark,
