Good catch (even if you're a bit early, but we'll give you the point regardless. Just so long as it's not to Ant. The things Ants do to
    points... it's unholy ;-).

It's always nice to see SNK games made available (which includes
everything in the above list except "Dishonored 2"). Neo-Geo games
were incredibly impressive for their time, and have held up remarkably
well despite the passage of two decades. Sadly, most of their games
aren't in genres I particularly care about - they're all fighters and side-scrolling shooters - but that doesn't negate their quality.

(God, can you imagine the world if quality was determined only by what
I liked and disliked? We'd all be stuck playing walking-sims and
single-player corridor-shooters! When you think about it that way, you
realize this isn't the /worst/ timeline after all ;-)

Still, if you do enjoy those genres I recommend taking a look at those
games. They're still quite playable and fun. Even if they're not your
thing, I think they're worth taking a look at just to see what could
be done with early 90s hardware.

I think at least half of these were given away by amazon before.

Yes? No? They were made available on Twitch, which was owned by Amazon
at the time. However, this is the first time they're available through
Amazon's client (although Last Blade and Metal Slug 3 are already
available, starting from earlier this month).

Regardless, I'm not upset to see the games made available again, to
people who might have missed them the first time around.

Epic will be doing a free game every day starting tomorrow, probably
    repeats as well.

Good to know. I had heard that Epic was going to do a repeat of the
Xmas give-aways, but didn't know when to start looking for them. Now I
    do.

Just do me a favor, and don't tell Ant. It's hard enough staying ahead
of that little creepy-crawly as it is ;-) ;-)

(But I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords. I'd like to remind
them as a trusted Usenet personality that I can be helpful in rounding
up others to toil in their underground sugar caves. ;-)
