can't say the same for its sequel).
And in the rare instance you /do/ tire of Doom, the engine has proven
to be so adaptable that the thousands of mods - which transform the
game into almost a game of any genre you could imagine - will breath
new life into the experience.
So I can't get too excited about this newest anniversary because - for
me - it's never really left my life. For me, there's really not much
difference between day 10,591 and 10,592... it's just another day to
play Doom ;-)
