    Agreed; the bother of having to go to another site and register first
    isn't worth the reward (especially since I already have the games on
    GOG). Plus, the sheer blatantness of how this is all just to harvest
    more user information (must sign up for newsletter) is annoying. They
    need to be a bit less obvious about it.

    I don't even care about this stupid franchise.

    I'm a fan of the Aliens franchise but - unlike many - I actually
    didn't enjoy the first AvP game very much. It came out in the early
    era of 3D games, and its models are blocky and terrible and - although
    the early game has some good atmosphere - it becomes very tedious soon
    after, with lots of cheap enemies. AVP2 - made by Monolith - was a far
    more enjoyable game thanks to its stronger narrative.

    (but Isolation remains the king of the Aliens video game franchise).
