Steamdeck just got a tick better

While the Deck is very comfortable console level style, if you stay on
the Steam side of things.
Things become nastier once you move out and install games from third
party launchers. Then, you run into the Linux wild west of things,
before being able to see the game in Steam.
The wild west just has become slightly more comfortable. I noticed
yesterday that Lutris "finally" has added Amazon games support to their
list of supported launchers/download sites. Not all games in my list can
be installed but most of them, and usually with no extra work involved,
just a click on a button, clicking the add to steam checkbox and voila...
Fyi just in case anyone is interested.
Also Steam has added the Deck API as replacement for the big picture
mode in the beta, just in case anyone has noticed or cares.
This is a more streamlined ui, suitable for TVs or consoles.
YMMV whether you like it more or less, it definitely works better on low
res screens than the old big picture mode. I personally have no
preference. I liked the old BPM as well.
