I used to know BASIC, but that was in the 80's and I never actually
made a game with it. I decided to try learning some javascript since
that seems to be what people agree is easy to get into for making
games, so maybe I could make my own version of Dungeon Robber
eventually. I found a tutorial which goes through making 7 games to
learn javascript, the programmer(ess?) makes watching it easy.

Anyway, the first one is Rock Paper Scissors against the computer. I
got a little carried away and expand on it a little bit, and made it
Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock. I had some issues getting it to work
and almost gave up but eventually did, man debugging is hell. I also
had to figure out how to add it to google sites, which was pretty easy.

I seem to have a font of creativity with it as I can think of a ton of
things I'd like to do with it, say having various computers to play
with that use certain strategies, or turning it into a gladiator pit
where your weapon determines outcome. On the other hand I might be
    better off continuing on

It might be worth a quick play... it has some Easter eggs.

Let me know if you played it.

)Mirror Spock and Mr. Spock meet. Both being logical analyze the game and conclude that it is flawed becasue anyone playing it would be a fan of
Star Trek and choose Spock resulting in all draws. The game ends with no winners. Mirror spock suggests you find a more logical way to resolve
disputes such as taking turns, or making a ranked list and voting. Mr.
Spock suggests you turn off the computer as that will constitute a win.
They both make thick scissor signs at each other and you, and say "Live
long and prosper." then are beamed back to their respective ships.

    Thanks!

I gave up on the programming for the moment. I did learn things that're somewhat helpful in my tech support role, like being able to look at Javascript in developer mode and have perhpas some idea of what its
    doing.

I might give something a bit further removed like RPGMaker or Visual
Basic (I've seen some people made games in Excel!) or back to Python
or something a try. Javascript just seems crazy to me, or maybe I was
just learning it ass backwards or something.
