    Awww, kitties!

United States of America - despite its many problems - can be a rather
nice to place to live, but hearing of all its storms and floods and
blizzards and fires and earthquakes makes it sometimes sound rather... apocalyptic, and you wonder how people survive in such an inhospitable environment. I mean, I know it is not, but sometimes it sounds that
    way.

Of course, this recent spate of hurricanes is all the fault of
meteorologists, who just a few weeks ago tempted fate by saying that -
as the season was nearing its end - that this year had been very quiet
as far as storms go. Mother Nature of course took up the gauntlet that
had been so carelessly thrown at her feet. A manhunt for those
wreckless scientists who have threatened the safety of so many has
    ensued. ;-)

Hmm. I feel the same way about Australia, having never been there.

To be fair, drop bears are rather terrifying. And they're
    /everywhere/.

(There might even be one behind you right now.)
