• Ne Year's Resolution on buying games broken!

Well I don't count the one I brought when I was so pissed I didn't
remember doing it but this one was intentional - Skool Daze Reskooled. I
hadn't even heard of it but it came up in some video of classic Speckky
games so I thought I have to give it a try. Rather fun I must say.

Good, good. Let your greed guide you. Only the Jedi show self
restraint. Buy those games. A vast video-game library is the ultimate
power in the galaxy. Search your feelings, you know it to be true.

I'm not familiar with the original, but - if I'm forced to admit it
(at least based on the trailer) - it does look a bit appealing.
Although I'm having a hard time deciding what sort of game it actually
is. Adventure? Platformer? $8 USD (€7 real money ;-) might be a bit
more than I want to pay to find out, though.

Also, maybe I already have enough games so I don't need to buy
anymore? Wait, no, my feelings are telling me otherwise...

It's considered one of the classic Speckky games and it's kinda hard to describe the gameplay especially as it's so long since I played it. It's
not a platformer and although it's described as an adventure game it's
more about acting out the typical school day. So avoid the bully, bully
the weak kid, go to lessons (or try and bunk off and not get caught),
annoy teachers with your catapult etc., etc. Almost an early sandbox game.

I believe the idea came from a very popular children/younger teenagers
TV series of the time, Grange Hill and trying to recreate a similar
    atmosphere.

So, basically it's Rockstar's "Bully" except twenty years ahead of
time (and with a side-scrolling viewpoint)? Sounds interesting.
