Something about this game looks wierdly appealing.

I'm /really/ not a fan of the untextured-polygon look that so many
Indie games use. It's an unfortunate judging a game by its cover, but
games are a visual medium, so first impressions are sort of important.
I'm not writing the game off, but it gets points off from the start.

Other than that... well, there's not any clear indication what the
gameplay is like. I'm getting vibes of "Sunless Seas", but maybe
that's just because both games feature boats and Lovecraftian
sea-monsters. It seems to be sort of a survival-game like "Raft",
    maybe?

Unless reviews are excellent, it's most likely to be added to my
library only as a freebie or as part of some bundle that I bought for
other games that interest me more.

Agree it's not going to wow anyone with next gen visuals, but
sometimes the uncluttered / not-as-busy look appeals to me. For me,
the sense of immersion in a game is created by many different
factors... one of which is of course the graphics, but to me that
doesn't mean the closer to photorealism the better. A good example of
this is Zelda Breath of the Wild.. I would have never known how good
it was if I judged it purely by the art style choices.

Most single player games end up being that for me anyway. It
typically comes down to whether I wishlist them for a future sale or
    not.
