From rms@21:1/5 to All on Sat Aug 27 15:33:41 2022
Square's firesaling Steam codes for stuff they're selling to Embracer. https://store.na.square-enix-games.com/en_US/games/all-games
You'll have to scroll through to see what's available, a waiting list for
    the better items.

Ugh. I'd have to create yet-another-account. And their deals aren't so marvelous I'm inclined to do that... especially since I already own
most of the games I'm interested in anyway.

(A perfect example of how onboarding new users is always the hardest
    step)

I'm of mixed opinions on the Embracer Group acquiring all these games,
but that Square Enix is divesting itself of all these IPs? Though tey
actually weren't bad custodians of the properties, Western titles
like the "Tomb Raider" or "Thief" or "Deus Ex" franchies never seemed
entirely on-brand for them. I can understand why they were keen to
    sell.

The only one that might interest me would be the Avengers one, but
I found GotG so disappointing, I'm not really holding enough hope to
go through the 'wait list' whatever that is.

Not to mention most of the low discount games that don't have 'wait
list' were on the GoG $1 sale.
