Yeah, me neither. I mean, I have no idea whether the game is good or
not, but anything using a card motif automatically starts from a
disadvantage in my eyes.
But even were that not the case, the art style just doesn't appeal to
me. I know, I know; it's judging a book by its cover, except video
games are by nature a very visual medium so how it looks is an
important criteria... and - for whatever reason - this game's
appearance rubs me wrong.
But it's not - despite my initial impressions - a free-to-play game
that Epic is handing off as some generous offer, so give them credit
for that much. I'll happily add it to my library under the (probably
deluded) belief that I'm costing the company money ;-)
Also, I totally forgot it was Thursday. I'd not even have checked EGS
today (or this week) had it not been for the reminder, so thanks for
that. ;-)
