Hey, did we do one of these last week? Well, whatever; this week on
Epic we get:
Cook, Serve, Delicious 3 https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/cook-serve-delicious-3-fb9aae
Which, well, okay, I mean... it's a game. It's gotten to its third
iteration so apparently it's profitable enough for the developers for
them to do so, which implies there's an audience for it. Honestly, the
only time I've ever seen mention of this series is when squealing
streamers put it up on the YouTube/Twitch/Discord channels, and it
looks interesting - the game, not the streamers - for about five
minutes. But somebody must like it. So, sure, might as well put it up
on Epic. Have at it if its your thing.
I think I'll pass, though.

Thanks Spalls. I claimed it. $20 at Steam
I have the original, but never tried it.
And yes. I cook. At home, and sometimes 30-60 people, sometimes by
myself :-)

The CSD series has about as much to do with cooking as "Minecraft"
has to do with mining. It's more of a puzzle/timing game where you
have to scamble to trigger various actions that put together a meal as >customers place an increasing number of orders.
As I said, I'm sure the game has is fans; I've just never encountered
any. GTA, COD, Madden, No Man's Sky, Roblox, even CandyCrunch... I've
heard people mention these. Never has "Cook Serve Delicious" come up
in conversation. But perhaps I'm just hanging out with the wrong
crowd.
I also have a midevil bartending game that I haven't tried that got
good revies.
I remember a game like that with rootbeer and trying to serve people
before the glasses slid off the table. CSD sounds like the same
thing.
It might have been for ColecoVision.

It might have been for ColecoVision.Odds are you are remembering the classic game, "Tapper" which was
originally released in the arcades but was later ported to a number of
home platforms including, yes, the ColecoVision.
(also, the Atari 2600, Atari 8-bit, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, MSX,
Amstrad CPC, BBC Micro, IBM PC, and Palm OS)
Here it is on the Atari 2600

In addition to all of the above, I am positive there are bootleg
versions of the game that take the concept, file of the serial
numbers, and call it by another name (e..g, 'Bewmaster" on the
Trash-80).
In some ways it is the ancestor to the CSD games, although the latter
are - obviously - more involved. The core mechanic of both is keeping
the 'timelines' of various orders straight even as the pace becomes increasingly more hectic.
I didn't much care for "Tapper" either ;-)
