Not yet, but I am ever so tempted. You get to play as a kitty, after
all! Who's a pretty-witty cuddly widdle kitty-cat! If I had this game,
it could be me!
But paying full price for a game? No. I don't do that any more.* As
much as I want to give it a try, I think I'll wait. It's not as if I
don't have any other games to tide me over.
But this is a definitely a game on my must-get/must-play list. 'Cause kitty-cat!

Don't suppose you can give a link? Since you didn't say where it was >available....

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1332010/Stray/
Also 'free' if you have Playstation Plus Premium
I haven't played this, but IMHO the hype machine of playing a cat is inflating initial impressions. It's a ~7hour game (or less) and the
gameplay is not exactly exciting. I'd temper expectations about Stray.

No, it looks interesting. I am not a cat guy. I sent the link to my
weirdo brother. He is a cat person.
I have met maybe a handful of cat's that I actually sort of liked.
Love dogs to death. Have rescued a bunch that became family members.
A neighbor has a pitbul that he and his wife rescued from our local
animal shelter. One of the sweetest dogs I have ever been around. He
sits in my lap with his yellow eyes looking at me that makes me want
to cry even though he has a life now that he never had before.
Cat?
Okay, I will probably buy it! :-)))

Cats aren't know for being that affectionate especially to strangers.
Then again the cat I had years ago acted more like a dog. He'd follow me >around the house and any strangers in the house he'd be up to them
looking for attention. The worse one was that he used to follow me to
our local pub and then sit outside until I reappeared. Now that would be
fine if it wasn't that one night a young family got into their car
outside the pub and him being him thought, oh, oh people to play with
and jumped in the car. They assumed he was a stray so took him home.
I thought I'd lost him until about a week later speaking to one of the >barstaff and saying I'd lost my cat. They said, ah a couple I know who >occasionally come in where talking about the stray cat they found. So I
had to go and get him!

Well, since house cats that are left outside are responsible for most
of the population decline of songbirds in the world, I am leaning
towards not purchasing this game :-)
I still have wingspan on the back burner hehe.

(They're not wild critters so don't really count in the statistics
above, but 50 billion chickens are killed annually.)

At least in the UK pet cats can't be said to help the bird population
but the science really doesn't stack up that they are causing it to
decline. You have species that basically live in gardens with increasing >populations and conversely those in rural environments that are
declining. Then there's the fact that millions up millions of birds die
each year so how many of those killed by cats would have soon died
anyway especially if cats take a disproportionate amount of the weak and
the sick.
Saying all that I still think owners should put a collar with a bell on
their cats.
Actually - and not too surprising - it's humans who are the
top-killers of birds. <<

By housecats! I knew it!
