Not yet, but I am ever so tempted. You get to play as a kitty, after
    all! Who's a pretty-witty cuddly widdle kitty-cat! If I had this game,
    it could be me!

But paying full price for a game? No. I don't do that any more.* As
much as I want to give it a try, I think I'll wait. It's not as if I
don't have any other games to tide me over.

But this is a definitely a game on my must-get/must-play list. 'Cause kitty-cat!

Stop pointing out my hypocrisy and let me play "American Truck Sim:

I'm just worried it will be one of those "immersive" type games... and
I'll end up feeling like such a pussy playing it.

Ah come on...You know good and well each and every one of you wanted
to say that, but unlike me you care about your reputation... So I took

Certainly been added to my wishlist but I'm going to play Citizen
Sleeper first before thinking about which game I have that I'm going to
play next before thinking about actually buying a new game. Hopefully
Amazon will have a better selection next month and then I won't even
    have to buy a game

    Available on Steam https://store.steampowered.com/app/1332010?utm_source=gamewebsite&utm_campaign=sitevisit&utm_medium=web
    and Playstation Store https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP2470-PPSA02100_00-STRAYSIEA0000000

The game itself is generally well reviewed; it isn't getting
across-the-board five-stars, but it has an overall score of 85% on
Metacritic. Not bad for the first game of an Indie publisher.

As pointed out by others, the main appeal of this game is its
furry-faced catagonist. The game itself is - from all appearances - a
fairly average 3D action/adventure. It seems fairly simplistic; the
action bits aren't too hard, and the adventure aspects are very light.
It's less "Uncharted" and more "Plague Tale: Innocence".

But you get to be a cat in the game, and for those silly sods infected
with toxoplasmosis* (a.k.a., 'cat lovers'), that's reason enough to
    play it. ;-)

No, it looks interesting. I am not a cat guy. I sent the link to my
weirdo brother. He is a cat person.

I have met maybe a handful of cat's that I actually sort of liked.

Love dogs to death. Have rescued a bunch that became family members.
A neighbor has a pitbul that he and his wife rescued from our local
animal shelter. One of the sweetest dogs I have ever been around. He
sits in my lap with his yellow eyes looking at me that makes me want
to cry even though he has a life now that he never had before.

    Cat?

Cats aren't know for being that affectionate especially to strangers.
Then again the cat I had years ago acted more like a dog. He'd follow me
around the house and any strangers in the house he'd be up to them
looking for attention. The worse one was that he used to follow me to
our local pub and then sit outside until I reappeared. Now that would be
fine if it wasn't that one night a young family got into their car
outside the pub and him being him thought, oh, oh people to play with
and jumped in the car. They assumed he was a stray so took him home.

I thought I'd lost him until about a week later speaking to one of the
barstaff and saying I'd lost my cat. They said, ah a couple I know who occasionally come in where talking about the stray cat they found. So I
had to go and get him!

Well, since house cats that are left outside are responsible for most
of the population decline of songbirds in the world, I am leaning
towards not purchasing this game :-)

At least in the UK pet cats can't be said to help the bird population
but the science really doesn't stack up that they are causing it to
decline. You have species that basically live in gardens with increasing populations and conversely those in rural environments that are
declining. Then there's the fact that millions up millions of birds die
each year so how many of those killed by cats would have soon died
anyway especially if cats take a disproportionate amount of the weak and
    the sick.

Saying all that I still think owners should put a collar with a bell on
    their cats.

Well, since house cats that are left outside are responsible for most
of the population decline of songbirds in the world, I am leaning
towards not purchasing this game :-)

Actually - and not too surprising - it's humans who are the
top-killers of birds. Between building-strikes, impacts with cars,
pollution, deforestation (and other forms of habitat destruction),
pesticides and more, humans kill the most. (Yay?) However,
human-causes tend to be divied up into various sub-categories
(high-tension line collisions cause approx. 300 million bird deaths
alone), which helps disguise the impact.

But kitties are a close second (450 million a year).

Or, rather, third. Disease by far kills more birds (and, in general,
more animals) than anything else. A fact I think that, three years
ago, would have surprised a lot of people but recent events have
probably made more people aware of the sobering danger of microbial
    life.

I can see why as Chicken is just so bloody cheap. Even with the price
rises in the UK you can get one that will easily feed four for about £4.
Doing that with any other meat is hard. Personally though I tend to
stick clear of the cheap Chicken as I think there's a noticeable
difference between say a £4 one and a £8 one. The meat actually tastes
of something for starters. Even then it's still cheap as we managed to
get 3 x 2 meals out of a whole one which is still bugger all.
