Free games on Epic 'cause its Thursday. But, really, don't get your
hopes up.

This week it is:

The former is a rather shallow free-to-play idle game (a game which
can play itself, although you can get better results by doing the
strategizing yourself) with low production values that is only of note
because of its license. Epic "gave" this game away back in 2021, so
don't be surprised if you already have it.

The latter game is a platformer based on the classic 8-bit "Wonder
Boy" games, redone with a hand-drawn animation style. It's very pretty
but its gameplay and controls are very 1990s. It's essentially a
reskin of the game that came out in 1989 for the Sega Master System.
If you love that style of game, you'll probably get a kick outta this
one, and hey, the visuals alone make it worth at least taking a look
at, but it's not a game I can personally get all that excited about.


As usual, you have seven days to claim the games, so if either of
these sound interesting, don't wait too long or they'll be gone.
