Note: it was pointed out that if you visit
https://steamdb.info/app/1368440/ and click the "install" button (you
must have the Steam client installed and properly configured to accept "Steam://" links) you can get the game without all the above nonsense. (Alternately, just plug https://steamdb.info/app/1368440/ into the
browser). Apparently "Armor of Heroes" was a freebie game that had
since been delisted by Relic, but still exists on the Steam backend if
you can get to it.

Not sure that makes the game worth it, though. Given that its been
delisted, you can't even see any info about the title (since the
version above has been delisted; presumably the 'official' version has
a new steam AppID?) but if you want the free game without the hassle,
there you go.
