  • How come Discord knows what Steam games I am playing?

    Presumably at some point you linked your Steam account to Discord,
    possibly to use their voice chat at some point? Check your Discord
    profile (reportedly under the 'connections') and look for your Steam
    name there.

    Alternatively, make your Steam profile private. It won't delink your
    accounts but Discord will no longer be able to pull new information,
    such as your activity on Steam or your game library.

    Scroll all the way down to "Activity settings"

    Choose "Activity Status"

    Untick "Display current activity as a status message."

    Discord will still know what you're playing, but won't broadcast it to
    the world.

    I bet that was it as my brother and I use Discord for voice when we
    are playing UT2004 together.
