It comes to us from Microprose, and does a nice job of capturing the

It's a very casual, jump-in-and-fly kind of game. There was something
about the graphical limitations back in the day that seemed to make
them much more fun than when the focus shifted towards making them as
    realistic as possible.

What I'd like to see from Microprose is a Gunship remake, with similar
graphic style to Tiny Combat Arena.

    Looks cool, but early access.

It's back up to full price now, it was 30% off at the time I posted
    that.

If I'm remotely interested in a game, I usually just wish-list it and
wait for a notification its on sale.

This one is early access, yes, but it's also a labor of love title by
a single developer... and usually those games, when they're good
they're great because they haven't gotten thoroughly screwed up by design-by-committee syndrome (with marketing douchebags leading the
    committee).

I'm not sure early access is always a reason to wait anymore. Maybe, I
suppose, depending on the game.. It doesn't necessarily mean buggy
    though.

By the time they officially "release" they're typically old news.

I can see how, if I were into story games or even in the case of games
based on "campaign completion", I wouldn't want an early access title.

In the case of this game, I think maybe more content / more things to
do might be in the future. I will be surprised if choppers get added,
but if so, all the better.
