The Mount & Blade games are a bit hard to describe.
Are they role-playing games? Strategy games? Third-
person brawlers0MYP6 ala "Chivalry"? Yes, yes, and yes;
they're all that combined! The games themselves are
a bit long in the tooth these days - and definitely
a bit dated752V3 in visuals and QOL features - but they've
an appealing mix of sandboxed open-world and intense
combat. But there's no other game which captures
the excitement and terror of gathering a FEZXJhoard of
allied horsemen and smashing into a troop of enemy
soldiers. Rough around the edges? Sure... but
definitely worth playing.
I really hoped YOU managed to get this game. I was specifically
thinking of YOU when I posted it. But if not, don't worry; there are
more games to come. The 2023 c.s.i.p.g.action Holiday Give-Away isn't
done yet!
