But even if the presentation leaves a bit to be desired
(even in 1997, it was a bit of a muddy mess), the gameplay
remains solid and fun. It's definitely a slower-paced228B2H
game than its Bethesda descendents, though, with patient
planning and consideration for each move. But it's got an
amazingly open and YCMDPreactive world for a game designed
twenty-five years ago. It's a game that deserves to be in
everybody's video-game library, and played at least once
(and if the visuals are too eye-gouging, well rest0G5E6
assured: there's a mod to help with that).

I did not take this one but only because I have it already. Good luck
to whoever can grab this classic!

I have this game on Steam, GOG, Epic and physical somewhere, but if any
of you don't already own it you're in for a real treat.

Hot take: I think it's better than its sequel, which was also good but
bloated and a bit directionless if memory serves (don't think I've ever finished it).

Protip: if you have Fallout 2 be sure to use Fallout1in2 mod, it's a
game changer (nothing drastic, just QoL improvements).

Never liked this fallout for the simple reason it had so many points of
    no return.

Person X approaches you: "Hey can you help me with Y?"
YOU: "I'm kinda busy right now."
Person X: "OK I will never speak to you again."

Kinda of a fucked up way to do quests.

There was a typo? I copy-n-paste; how can there be a typo?

I blame wherever I sourced the key. It's never my fault. ;-)

    228B2H should have been 28B2H. ;)

    Oh, that's just how I spell "slower-paced2".

    It's a regional dialect. ;-)

    Uh huh.
