COMP.SYS.HP48
ISOL

Hi,
Consider the following relation:
'L+2*W=100_yd'
on the stack.
Next I put the variable 'L' on stack level 1 and then use symbolic solve > ISOL (or perhaps algebra > ISOL for Hp48). I get
'L=100_yd+-2*W'
instead of just 'L=100_yd-2*W'. I get a "+" sign before the "-" sign. Is there some flag setting which is giving me the additional "+" sign?
PS: It's an example taken from HP Insights vol 2 pag 517.
Cheers
