HP50G algebraic simplification

Hello,
This question will apply to HP48 and HP49 calculators as well.
Consider the following expression:
((x^2 + 1 )^2 * 3x *2) / (x^2 + 1 )^3
I want to simplify the above so that the term (x^2 + 1 )^2 is absorbed in the denominator so that the above expression simplifies to
3x*2/(x^2 + 1).
If I use commands like EVAL, COLCT and FACTOR I get
6x/(x^2 + 1) instead which I don't want as the term 3x * 2 gets simplified as well.
In the Equation Editor I am not able to choose only the part
(x^2 + 1 )^2 / (x^2 + 1 )^3
to get 1/(x^2+1).
Any help would be most appreciated.
