What is this lunacy? You're dying? You think there might be a load of collectors out there, or even traders, who are silently dying? Sod that,
give ME your stuff, retro fans who are somehow dying 30 years early from
organ failures. I'll look after your cool and now valuable stuff!
I have a friend who may take over should I not be able to continue. He
has experience with sales, running a business that sold Computers like
PC, Commodore and Atari, as well as repairs savvy. He also has and may
have again, a computer surplus store. He takes electronics, parts them
out and sells them. And he is my friend. Thanks Tony!
Man, this isn't fair, I was here in 1995 and collecting at the same time.
I'd turn down a ZX Spectrum at 6 pounds as too expensive at a car boot
sale, now they sell on bloody Ebay for 60! I lost all my treasure in a
house move, it was a bad decision! I want all this crap!
Anyone else remember Ebay's original URL before it was Ebay? It was something.com/something/ebay or something like that, maybe a law firm.
Very odd! Did the Altavista beta test succeed? It's the sort of thing we
need!
Ben, sad about your health man,
Don't worry about me, I have some really good doctors. Recently,I went
to the hospital for my kidneys & the doctors caught a problem with my
heart. Doctors replaced a faulty heart valve. I think the procedure is called,I think, "tapper". I think that is the right spelling. Surgeons
made a small incision in my nether regions, going up through my blood
vessels and replaced the faulty valve. And the best part is, they did
not have to crack open my chest. This was done at Oregon Health and
Sciences University. AKA OHSU. The best Doctors in the country. They
saved my life. I've decided I'm not going to die, I'm going to live
until Christ returns. The way things look, it should be soon. At least
I'll outlive my sister.
but a trader asking for free stock "donations", if that's what your
rather confusing post meant... that's a bit cheeky!
There is nothing wrong with begging, it's a time honored profession. I
think beggars go back before biblical times. It helps pay my bills and
at the same time, selling and supporting Atari users. =-=Ben=-=
