The nice thing about this SCART board is that it opens up other opportunities to use more current and nicer looking monitors. I got Chris's SCART board, and a straight through cable from the Geneve 9640 to the SCART board. As I did not have an SCART
monitor, I also bought an SCART to HDMI converter. The SCART output of this converter then plugged into my monitor.
So, now I have something like a 21" flat/widescreen monitor. The monitor itself has the capability of doing like 1920x1080. With the converter, I was able to select some different resolutions and I swear the display looks better with less pixelation
than what I had on previous 1980's vintage monitor.
Anyways, I am very impressed and very happy!!!

Chris Schneider has developed an interface between the Geneve 9640 to allow the use of SCART monitors.
Preordering and details are on Atariage.com. Let me know if anyone needs more details.
