From Beery@21:4/109 to All on Thu Apr 23 08:25:37 2020
I have just start beta testing the conversion of the AfterHours BBS program from a RS232 based program to a TIPI based program. It has taken a lot of work, but with Matt's development of extra routines to provide a server based functionality, it is now up and running.

If you have the chance, please check it out at 9640News.ddns.net:9918

Pleae leave any bug reports either here or on the Atariage Forum where
    comments are being made.

The source code will be released with the program. Pretty much, one can have unlimited file storage as the code allows XModem file transfers and multiple message base capability.

Looking good! Takes me back to some of the BBSes I was calling when I
first started in the late 1980's.

Thanks. I've put a bunch of time into the project and have a decent library
of assembly routines for the TI and TIPI now.

I've seen a couple of things I need to fix, one with Last Caller's as I have
a routine somewhere that is overwriting a portion of the in-memory caller
list only when he board resets from a disconnected user. The other issue is
a menuing option within the message base I need to change.

Thus far, it has been up and running without issue for over 3 days.

I did not realize that you were the one actually maintaining the code also. Good on you!

I just want to make sure we are on the same page. I am not maintaing any
code that Matt developed for the TIPI.

Rather, I have been writing utilities/code in assembly that a programmer can use for new applications that utilize the TIPI.

The BBS code (AfterHours BBS) is the first "server based" code that has been written. Right now, I am finding some nuances between it and the Geneve that works fine on the 4A, but not perfect on the Geneve. I think the Geneve is
too fast for one of the functions and I am trying to pin it down a bit more.
