  • Locolink 2 missing PCW disc

    Hi
    Wanted: LLINK2xx.EMS for 8256/8512 3" boot disc
    I recently tried out Locolink 2 but the 3" disc was faulty, is there
    someone I can supply a 3" disc to, who can copy the Locolink 2 software
    for me?

    Or someone share/upload the above file?

    I have a 3" disk with LLINK202.EMS on it. Luckily I have a PCW with both a 3" and a 3.5" floppy drive, so I was able to boot using a 3.5" boot disk and copy the file onto that disk from the 3" disk.

    I have now make a disk image of the 3.5" CP/M boot disk (for PCW 8512 /8256) with the LLINK202.EMS file on it. Unfortunately I cannot seem to extract the file from the disk image, does anyone know a way around this?

    I have uploaded the disk image file to my google drive and made it publicly accessible using this link:

    Let me know when you have got the file, or if you need any more assistance. (I'll take the file down in about 1 month, if you need more time let me know).

    And please, let me know how you get on with Locolink. I have a cable with the software, but I've never had the time to use it, so any info regarding use would be appreciated.

    If you need to extract the LLINK202.EMS file from the image and do not have
    any means of doing so, I can probably get it off the image for you. Some
    time ago I wrote an image filing system for RISC OS which handles CP/M discs, so it should be easy to do.

    (I expect there are tools for other platforms but I don't tknow what they
    are.)
