I can't login, either. I hope beyond all that we haven't lost access to this fabulous resource. It doesn't seem possible that it might be gone after 25+ years. Hopefully this is just a glitch and will be fixed post-haste.

Perhaps it's down for maintenance, or for migrating to larger storage because of all of the recent uploads.
    We should be patient.

Yes, indeed. Yesterday, I read your note about uploading more titles,
so I tried to go and fetch them. Give it the weekend at least, if not a
    week or two.

Seems there is a issue, last sync I could get was Nov 10. I assume it's temporary.

Asimov is mirrored daily at the following URL if you need to get some
    files.

    https://mirrors.apple2.org.za/ftp.apple.asimov.net/

The main Asimov site is working again! :) :)

While the subject is still fresh, how many people here remember the early
days of the Asimov FTP site? It used to be quite notorious according to some people.

The Asimov archive came online around 1995, more than 25 years ago.

By summer 1996, some Apple II users started calling it a pirate site: https://macgui.com/usenet/?group=1&id=120267#msg

Quite a few discussions about this, also with Dr. Tom Turley and quantum_cat (who I thought someone once said was an alias of Richard "marinetti"
Bennett). But 25 years later, Apple II piracy isn't what it used to be. :-/
