• Call-APPLE email list problem

    From D Finnigan@21:1/5 to All on Tue Aug 3 17:43:36 2021
    Tried to get in touch by email with someone from callapple.org last time
    this happened. No response, so I'll post it here.

    Aug 3 16:28:25 sarah postfix/smtpd[47502]: connect from server.callapple.org[68.66.206.137]
    Aug 3 16:28:25 sarah postfix/smtpd[47502]: Anonymous TLS connection established from server.callapple.org[68.66.206.137]: TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)
    Aug 3 16:28:25 sarah postfix/smtpd[47502]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from server.callapple.org[68.66.206.137]: 450 4.1.8 <mailman-bounces@server.example.com>: Sender address rejected: Domain not found; from=<mailman-bounces@server.example.com> to=<df@macgui.com>
    proto=ESMTP helo=<server.callapple.org>
    Aug 3 16:28:25 sarah postfix/smtpd[47502]: disconnect from server.callapple.org[68.66.206.137] ehlo=2 starttls=1 mail=1 rcpt=0/1
    data=0/1 quit=1 commands=5/7

    The problem seems to be the presence of "server.example.com" in the email address. Probably other mail servers are dropping Call-APPLE's emails for
    the same reason.
