Hi Transputer fans!
For those of you who have not been following my "what happening" page on my website, I've spent the last couple of years extracting the ucode (or VBC) from the Inmos T414 Transputer and writing a fully working Inmos Transputer T414 Rev. B VBC emulator.
It has been quite a challenge to say the least.
The emulator executes using the ACTUAL microcode which I extracted from the REAL T414 Rev.B Transputer. I've written all the code (approx. 10,000 line of C) to emulate the data paths, the registers, alu, conditional logic, the Byte move logic, the micro
controller, the memory access controller (interfacing to 4Mbytes of memory), the timers and the 4-off channel interfaces. It also integrates the Inmos ISERVER functionality for keyboard, screen and hard disk support.
For those of you interested and who want to have a play, please check out my website page for more details:

I would be very keen for extra help in running Occam test cases (written and compiled using the Occam toolset D7205a) to test the emulator and help locate and resolve the last remaining bugs.
Have fun!
Gavin
