• Unexpected growth of COMS/TTRAIL

From Marco Figueira@21:1/5 to All on Fri Jul 23 17:04:26 2021
Please if anyone can help me.
Unexpectedly the COMS/TTRAIL file started to grow a lot and quickly, however I still haven't discovered the origin of this growth.
Has anyone, by any chance, been through this situation? Do you know how to solve it?
    Thanks!

Is this the default, non-data base TTRAIL (TPLIBRARY) or one associated
    with a COMS DATABASE declaration?

Have any of the TTRAIL options been changed lately, e.g., STATISTICS or
AUDIT? See the section "Controlling Transaction Trails" in the
    Transaction Server Operations Guide.

Is it possible you are simply experiencing an increase in the number of transactions coming into COMS? Have you tried looking at the TTRAIL
files to see what is in there? The format is described in an appendix to
    the Transaction Server Programming Guide.

    Default, as far I know.
    Example:
    *COMS/TTRAIL/TPLIBRARY/2490 07/23/2021 @ 15:50:28
    *COMS/TTRAIL/TPLIBRARY/2491 07/23/2021 @ 16:24:17
    *COMS/TTRAIL/TPLIBRARY/2492 07/23/2021 @ 16:57:53
    *COMS/TTRAIL/TPLIBRARY/2493 07/23/2021 @ 17:36:15
    *COMS/TTRAIL/TPLIBRARY/2494 07/23/2021 @ 18:19:00
    *COMS/TTRAIL/TPLIBRARY/2495 07/23/2021 @ 18:55:09
    *COMS/TTRAIL/TPLIBRARY/2496 07/23/2021 @ 19:49:44
    *COMS/TTRAIL/TPLIBRARY/2497 07/23/2021 @ 20:49:55

I don't know, but I'll check it out, thanks.

that's what we're trying to do right now.
anyway, we turned off the statistic (COMS STATISTICS OFF) and the sudden growth stopped.

Thanks for the tips and we'll keep trying here,
giving news about progress. Feel free to add comments
