    Hi all,
    I've seen on this site:

    https://shrubbery.net/~heas/sun-feh-2_1/Devices/Boot_PROM/BootPROM_Sun4u.html#SB1000

the latest OBP for my Sunblade 1000 is OBP 4.5 Version 16 + POST 4.5.16. Is this correct. If so where could I locate this? Is it worth updating?

Oracle calls it "Oracle Premiere Support". https://www.oracle.com/support/premier/systems/
You might be looking at "Lifetime Support for Hardware", as the Blade 1000 is EOL.

I think the last firmware bump was for rebranding Sun to Oracle.

If your host is working, then don't worry (at that price) about upgrading it if you
aren't required to by your company's security policy.

Version 4.5 is an *older* release; 4.10.x is newer.

The firmware you have installed is from patch 111292-14, from
    May 2003.

The most recent version is from Jan 2005; it is:

    Patch-ID# 118323-01
    Unbundled Release: OBP 4.16.4,POST 4.16.3,OBDIAG 4.16.4

I'm not sure if it is worth ugrading; often the updates are
for support for newer CPUs and faster DIMMs.
