I'll answer in the newsgroup, as this may be helpful to others
    as well.

Use your preferred search engine to look for a document labeled:

    816-2090-10.pdf

This covers the use of the LOM in chapter 8 and later.

I don't think that the LOM can be used from a keyboard plugged
into the USB ports on the V120, even if you have a framebuffer (graphics
card) plugged into the single PCI slot. Instead, you need a RS-232
terminal plugged into the RJ-45 connector labeled "LOM A" above the
other one labeled "SERIAL B". You will need a converter cable from the
RJ-45 to the DB-25 (or perhaps DE-9) serial port on a terminal, or on a computer acting as a terminal. If you can find one of the CISCO serial
port cables (RJ-45 to DE-9), this will get you close to what you need. Otherwise, you can find the pinout needed in the manuals. In the manual
which I indicated above, go to page 6-7 to find the pinout of the RJ-45
serial connector from the LOM to a DB-25 RS-232 connector.

Later systems include a RJ-45 connector which acts as a
twisted-pair ethernet connector for the LOM (to keep the LOM separate
from any normal networking on the system, so people will not have as
easy a time of breaking into the system.

    Thanks very mach sir

    Best of luck,
    DoN.
