    Partly, partly a lull in the never-ending political flame wars. Though
    I can't be sure of that last part since I've had to killfile so many in
    this newsgroup. They could be having the Usenet equivalent of the Third
    World War and I may not see any of it.

    It would appear that most discussion of computer games has dispersed on
    to web based forums. Not my medium of choice, but I have a feeling that
    the majority of computer users these days have never even *heard* of
    usenet.
