If anyone is still here, there was a naval game folks were enjoying a few years ago. I think it let you build your own fleets, etc. Maybe set WW1? Not sure. Anyone remember some buzz about a naval game?

Could it have been Steam and Iron? It included a database editor that allowed you to customize ships to your personal satisfaction. Otherwise, can you be more specific by what you mean with, "build your own fleets"?

Steam and Iron sounds possible. I thought maybe it had some kind of a campaign game built in, or maybe an editor for building your own CGs.

S&I originally released without any campaign capability. A campaign expansion was released later, complete with an editor for creating your own campaigns.

WARSHIP COMBAT, NAVIES AT WAR PERHAPS? STEAM AND IRON is also a worthy
choice. There's also RULE THE WAVES - that's the strategic one. WC-NAW
    and SAI are tactical.

    All available from NWS:

I have NAW. It must be either Steam and Iron or Rule the Waves. Thanks.
