    Hello.

My client and I use an AUKEY's 12 in 1 USB-C hub (https://www.aukey.com/collections/hubs/products/cb-c78-12-in-1-usb-c-hub)'s HDMI cable to an ASUS VA27DQSB 27??? HD Monitor (https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-VA27DQSB-Adaptive-Sync-DisplayPort-Frameless/dp/B08C63NR1V)
with his 13" Intel MBP 2020. Once in a while, the external monitor has
no video signal after waking up MBP so we either have to disconnect and reconnect the hub's USB-C and/or HDMI cable(s) to fix it. :(

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

    - AOC U2868PQU display with HDMI and DisplayPort ports
    - MacBook Pro 17 "2.66 GHz Intel Core i7 (Mid 2010) macOS Sierra
    10.12.6.

I have the same phenomenon with a cable
    DisplayPort <https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/94/DisplayPort-r id.jpg/110px-DisplayPort-rid.jpg>

    Mini DisplayPort <https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/7f/Mini_DisplayP ort_%28connector%29.PNG/220px-Mini_DisplayPort_%28connector%29.PNG>

I turn off the screen. I unplug it from the MBP. I turn it on again.
I'm waiting for the "AOC" logo to appear. I reconnect to the MBP.

I also have an HDMI - HDMI cable and an HDMI - Mini DisplayPort adapter <https://www.apple.com/be-fr/shop/product/HHLN2ZM/B/adaptateur-mini-disp layport-vers-hdmi-4k-de-belkin>

The situation is then less worse.

I forgot to mention in body:
    1. Are you still having no video signal issues with external monitors with Macs' Big Sur v11?
    2. The issue happens when waking up the MBP from its sleep.
