• Connecting Tandy DWP-210 to modern PC

    Hi all,

I am attemping to connect a Tandy DWP-210 to a modern PC.

I have heard it is possible to take a standard IBM centronics to db25 connector and remove PIN 33 from the adapter.

However, this youtube (https://youtu.be/reXPAv1I1Co?t=115) clip says cut pin 18.

I was hoping I could use a centronics to USB adapter to connect the printer, but I do not want to fry anything.

Can anyone provide clarity on this issue?

    Cheers,

    Jonathan

Updates! I got the printer to work on a windows 10 machine using generic printer driver. I removed pin 18 from the centronics adapter and everything works like a charm.
