I found (and preserved) a collection of floppies that appear to come from a larger Macintosh “public domain” software library:

Would be interested to hear from anybody who subscribed to or regularly purchased from Mac PD vendors back in the day. Like I mention in my
write-up, I was a fairly avid buyer of Amiga PD when I was a kid and
remember the computer shop I went to had *thousands* of floppies,
representing several different (and each ever-growing) libraries. I wonder
if a similar ecosystem existed for Macintosh?
