The big chips hint at more capability.
Not seeing good images of the IBM MPCA that enable me to determine the chipset.
Is it analogous to the 36/38 as far as capabilities? DMA, CPU, memory?

Just for snorts and giggles, which one(s) would you like images of?

92F1344 MULTI-PROTOCOL ADAPTER/A
96F9156 MULTI-PROTOCOL ADAPTER/A
and the oddball
00P5920 2-PORT MULTIPROTOCOL PCI ADPT.
AFAIK I only have a 92F1344, but that went into hiding 10 years ago; no
idea where to find it...
Oh wow, are the boards actually different (aside from the ZM1 thing)?

Jelte, not sure if you don't have a mix of FRU, P/N, and maybe raw card numbers.

Neither do I. This is an extract from a partslist of kamcom-dot-com from april 2006 (!) Back in the day they were pretty accurate in their references. Nowadays (just checked) they are still in business, but not so much in parts, i.e. no partslist
