    Nice graphic.

The Baytec 2000 is a parallel processor with a 22-slot SCSI backplane
that can accommodate as many as eight SCSI controllers. Each of the
controllers can support seven workstations equipped with SCSI ports.

Workstations are attached using a multimedia adapter unit and
dual-coaxial, fiber-optic or twisted-pair cable. The workstation views
the net as an SCSI-compatible device and is about as easy to install as
    an external disk drive.

Don't get too pumped up, "multi media" means Co-ax, fiber, or TP. Just a
    media adapter.

Not seeing any articles on the Baytec 2000 past 1989. Story of my life.
