  • M-ACPA in Windows 98SE took out Plug and Play installer

    Installed the M-ACPA card using Peter's hack. Audio works great but now when I go to install other hardware I get hard reset when Windows 98SE goes to find new P and P hardware wizard.

    Anyone experience this effect?

    Removing the driver and registry entries had no effect.

    format c: moment or is there a work around?

    Happened to me again after a full reformat so may be Win 98 SE issue?
