I have an IBM 50z and I bought this DaynaTalk MC LocalTalk card. It has a mini-din 8 connector on it for plugged into Apple's LocalTalk or Farallon's PhoneNet cable systems. I have the ADF file (@612D.ADF) and the system sees the card. It also doesn't
However, I am very, very curious as to what software is compatible with this card?my DaynaTalk card. Whereas Apple's software halts the MS-DOS booting process when trying to start the services under DOS 3.31.
In my testing Apple's AppleShare PC and Farallon's PhoneNET software don't seem to see the card. Farallon's PhoneNET set up program does show a list of network cards it works with, including a DayStart MC card, but it doesn't seem to be compatible with
The only lead I have is someone mentioning TOPS to me, but I am very curious if anyone is aware of any software that works with this card.
Thanks!
-Steve
